If getting to the practice is not possible, I come to you, on a doctor’s prescription.
When getting to the practice is not possible.
A home visit is not a separate treatment, it is simply where the treatment happens. You receive the same care as in the practice, whether that is physiotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage or massage, only at your home or in your care facility. Your doctor has to state home visits explicitly on the prescription.

- After operations, while you are not mobile
- When walking is severely restricted
- After a stroke
- When care is needed at home
- In care facilities by arrangement
How it works.
Check the prescription
The prescription has to state that home visits are included. Please ask your doctor for this.
Agree a time
Home visits run in fixed time slots so the routes fit together.
Treatment at your home
All you need is a little space and a firm place to lie or sit.
Billing
With a prescription
The home visit is billed on top of the treatment. The statutory co-payment and a travel fee apply unless you are exempt.
Without a prescription
Without a prescription a home visit is possible privately, depending on the distance. You receive the price in writing beforehand, transparently and with no hidden extras.
