HeilKraftOase, Ina Irmler, Herrengasse 13
Heilpraktiker in Crimmitschau:
currently in training.
I am currently training as a Heilpraktiker (state-licensed non-medical practitioner) and expect to complete the course at the end of 2027 or in 2028. Until then I do not offer treatment as a Heilpraktiker and cannot give appointments for it.
In training
The training runs alongside my practice. Completion is planned for the end of 2027 or 2028.
Not yet bookable
I will treat as a Heilpraktiker only once I hold the licence under the German Heilpraktiker Act.
Physiotherapy now
Physiotherapy exercise, manual therapy, lymphatic drainage and more are available now, with or without a prescription.

The profession
What a Heilpraktiker is
In Germany, a Heilpraktiker may practise medicine independently without a medical licence. This requires a licence under the Heilpraktiker Act, which the public health office grants after an examination.
For the practice there is a second reason: the licence is also what allows me to treat osteopathically once I have completed my osteopathy training. More on osteopathy
How it fits together
- Physiotherapy: with or without a prescription, available now
- Heilpraktiker: completion expected end of 2027 or 2028
- Osteopathy: after training and licence, expected from 2028
Where it stands
How it differs from physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy, available now
Prescribed by a doctor and billed to your health insurer. Scope and length are set on the prescription. I have offered this since August 2026.
Heilpraktiker, expected from 2028
Not prescribed but paid for privately. Private and supplementary health insurance may reimburse part of it, depending on the policy. It requires the licence under the Heilpraktiker Act.
Questions
Common questions
No. As long as the training is under way and the licence has not been granted, I treat only within physiotherapy.
In Germany osteopathy is not a healthcare profession in its own right. Practising it independently requires a licence under the Heilpraktiker Act or a medical licence. That is why I am doing both trainings.
Statutory health insurers generally do not cover treatment by a Heilpraktiker. Private and supplementary insurance may reimburse part of it, depending on the policy. Please ask your insurer directly.
Yes. Mention it at your next appointment and I will let you know as soon as there is a date. This page will be updated then.
What happens next
Until then, I treat with physiotherapy.
Physiotherapy exercise, manual therapy, lymphatic drainage and massage therapy, with or without a prescription.
